This is the third year that we have used AFM for our Portuguese Tax returns. They have also assisted us in liaising with our UK accountants to ensure both tax systems were being adhered to as per the laws of Portugal and the UK.
In all of our correspondence we have encountered a very speedy reponse from them. All advice given has been of the highest standard.
Their recent Award has been well deserved. We would highly recommend AFM, particularly for English - speaking people who require advice in their own language and have a full understanding of HMRC regulations.

Throughout our journey to move to Portugal, we've tried to take good advice so we do things right, so that I know, going forward, everything we have done has been on firm foundations. However, we made a mistake in appointing someone to look after our financial affairs, and it left me feeling very exposed. On a recommendation, I contacted AFM and soon began speaking with Laura and Pedro, both tax advisers at AFM. They couldn't have been more helpful and soon had everything sorted. What I thought was a worry evaporated! It was a lovely feeling and left me thinking, why didn't I speak to them earlier! They also gave me so much help with my affairs in the UK, and for all those things, I'm very grateful. So I now have great accountants and amazing lawyers, and I feel very at ease. Something that is so important when you start a new life in a different country, but still have connections with the other. I have now met two lovely people, whom we now class as friends.

In the last 2.5 years I have worked with different experts at AFM and every single one has been amazing. My NHR application was managed successfully by Emanuela Margarido, my car registration has been organized by Sara Cardoso and my annual tax declaration is handled by the amazing Laura Felisberto. The three ladies have been extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and absolutely trustworthy. Everything went smoothly, timely and was approved by the tax authorities - it´s so good to not have to worry about anything. AFM have been providing accounting services for Casa Serviço since January 2017 and I only wished that we had discovered them sooner.
Their level of expertise and team work is absolutely above and beyond any other company we have come across in the last 35 years of Casa Serviço.
The Tax system in Portugal can be quite challenging at times but with AFM’s proactivity, prompt, clear and understandable communication, I must admit that I do sleep a lot better at night.

I cannot recommend All Finance Matters enough. I have used the legal and tax services for my move to Portugal and everyone on the team has been so responsive and knowledgeable. I will be staying with AFM for my future tax services when I move in a few months, and if I need any other legal services as well. My wife and I moved to Portugal a year ago. Moving to a new country that has been so welcoming to us requires many adaptations, one of them being how and what to do when it comes to filing with the Portuguese tax authorities. It is a privilege for us to be here and we recognize the importance of filing our taxes in a timely manner and correctly. Having now filed our taxes for the first time using All Finance Matters and seeing the filing on paper, we know that it would have been a nightmare to attempt it on our own.
